These hand-carved Christmas ornaments measure approx. 2.5" in diameter and feature either an elephant or a miniature stool in the center. The words "Ghana" and "Africa" are hand-carved on either side. For the Ashanti people of Ghana, the stool is accepted as the seat of the owner's soul and is the central object in their spiritual lives.
